Partnering with Casa Alegria
We are pleased to announce our ongoing partnership with Casa Alegria in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. This past year, Loving the Children of Mexico provided a $12,000 grant to the Patronato Alegria (known as Casa Alegria) to serve the needs of 45 children for a six month period.
Why are we excited to partner with Casa Alegria? Their values and interests align perfectly with Loving the Children. They have been operating for over 23 years in serving the needs of the children. Hundreds of children have benefited from the services provided by Casa Alegria over the past 23 years. The impact they have had on the children can be seen through their improved performance in school as well as their positive social growth and spiritual development. Many of these children perform best in their class, and often well above their peers. Many of the graduates from the early years have now gone on to college and graduated with bachelors and associate degrees. They are employed as professionals in the City’s government and in private business. These young professionals often return to help at Casa Alegria in gratitude for the impact it had in their lives.
